Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I play some songs?

Music playback requires an active Apple Music subscription. Some songs may not be available in your region or may have been removed from the Apple Music catalogue. The app will show a message if a song is unavailable.

Why is album artwork not showing?

Album artwork is fetched from the internet. If you're offline or have a slow connection, artwork may not load. The app will show a placeholder icon instead. Try again when you have a better connection.

How do I reset my preferences?

Go to the "For You" tab, tap on "Your Stats", then scroll down and tap "Reset Preferences". This will clear your viewing history, favourites, and personalisation data.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! The chart database is stored locally on your device, so you can browse and search all #1 hits without an internet connection. However, playing music, loading album artwork, and viewing artist information requires an internet connection.

How do I add a song to my favourites?

Tap the heart icon on any track card or in the track detail view. The heart will fill in to show it's been saved. View all your favourites in the Favourites tab.

What data do you collect?

We don't collect any personal data. All your preferences, favourites, and history are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The app is showing incorrect information

Our chart data is compiled from official UK chart records. If you believe there's an error, please contact us with details of the incorrect entry and we'll investigate.

How do I delete my data?

You can reset your preferences within the app (see above), or simply uninstall the app to remove all data. Since no data is stored on our servers, uninstalling completely removes all traces of your usage.
